L.S. King is a visual story teller, in which photography becomes her words. For the past decade, she has experimented with various forms of photography including hand-painting images with oils and prisma color pencils, digital imagery, Polaroid transfers, color printing technics, and traditional black and white photography.

King studied art and photography at Shepherd College
(Shepherdstown, West Virginia) where she received her Bachelors
in Fine Art in 1990. Since then, she has been a free-lance artist
and holds a position at the Calvert Marine Museum.

King's studio, the Grey Garage, is located in St. Mary's County,
Maryland.
