Polaroid Transfers

These images are a fragile technique using Polaroid film. Once an image

is put on film, before it fully develops, it is transferred onto watercolor paper.

This image received Honorable Mention in Handcolor.com's May 2001 Alternative Process Photography Competition. Judge Jill Enfield said, "Beautiful composition. Nice feel to the image. I think that the 'lift off' from the transfer adds to the background on the right side."
